Will installing an htaccess file on my site block image search engines?
I get most of my traffic from image search engines, but now people are hotlinking like crazy to my images. I want to install an htaccess file to stop people from stealing bandwidth, but I’m afraid it will prevent image search engines from finding me even if I include them on the list of allowed sites. Do htaccess files block EVERYTHING?

Not if you specifically deny just that domain.
Such as:
Deny from bandwidthstealer.com
