And if you do get serious about submitting articles to the article sites (I agree with the other answers; it’s an effective way to promote your site) then you might consider using an automated article submission service that will post your articles on several hundred article directories. Yea I agree with Brenda, article submission is the way to go. you can also start a link campaign to get more targeted traffic. Also you can try some different viral traffic methods.

If it is your website or an affiliate website you still need traffic. You don’t do well with Search Engine Optimization if it is not your website.

But you can learn more methods to get traffic to your affiliate site. There is no special thing to do! Advertising is the key.
