what is the best way to promote my website.?
I have a website/internet store that I am trying to promote. I have already submited it to Yahoo & Google Search engines. I’ve done a couple of adds to both also. I’m still not getting the traffic that I would like to see on my site. I want to stay away from the anoying spam I don’t respond to that to well myself. Anyone have any suggestions for other advertising methods that work?

You should take following steps to promote your site :-
1) This is very important that you should submit your site to the various popular search engines in a continuous process(*****)
2)you may list your site to various free directories.
3)You may advertise your site by the help of some ad-blaster,e-mail blaster , ezine-blaster website.
4) You may take free membership of some safe list,ff site,free classifides sites for posting the ad of your website.
5)You may ad links to your site of various popular websites like sports,game,online shopping and which category is related with your site.
