What is the best way to get traffic to my blog?
I have had my blog: http://www.gary-packer.com for several weeks now.
I notice it hasn’t had very many people visiting it although I have submitted articles to directories and signatures on forums.
What, in your opinion, would be the best way to get traffic to my blog?
It seems that buying traffic might be the answer, but I really don’t want to go down that road just yet.
I try to put fresh content on it every other day so the search engines can find it through keywords. Nothing yet.

dont buy that fake traffic stuff. THat is a scam
use forums, articles, directories, PPC, DIGG, Stumble upon, Youtube etc….this will give you a great start.

Come up with a Story that is 1. funny, 2. controversial, 3 breaking news and blast it out to the article, press release sites, also get your mates to slash dot it or Digg it.

Put up ads.
Join a good paying affiliate marketing company by doing a search for them.
Monetize it for free. Search engine optimization is a must. Sounds like you’ve the content down pat.
Submit it’s URL for free to search engines by doing a search for that.

well… use some search engine optimization tricks we can increase traffic and page rank easily.
Main basic thing is you should work on various factors of SEO ( search engine optimization) to get your site rank & traffic well in the search engines.
Basically, you should link your site to various sites outside the world. Once you get a good number of links, and when you give links to your site and maintain certain aspects in your site like updating the content regularly etc.,

Well the first thing I would start with is the name of your blog.
How many people do you thing type in Gary Parker in search
engines?(Not Counting Your Mom or Dad)
Example: you should use long Tail key words in your title.
I Believe your blog is about Affiliate Marketing ? How Does Gary-Parker relate to Affiliate Marketing.

To Get some Ideas on how to use the long tail keys to drive traffic . Then use articles to promote different affiliate JVs.
