I’d like to track my blog’s performance in search engines. I have found a few websites that offer free ranking reports, but they don’t seem to be very good. Is there a place where you can get good ones? Even if it costs money, I just want them to be accurate and detailed. Thanks!

If I’m not mistaken, Google gives the search results by the number of people actually visiting a site. But sometimes it is likely that we miss some good sites due to low page ranking. But still they may provide very good information on what we want. If you heard about ‘Kosmix’, it is a new search engine still being developed by two Indians. The results aren’t displayed ‘entirely’ by page ranking but are categorized according to the information they provide, I mean definition of the word, expert information, sales, services, journals, blogs and that kind of stuff.
And the developers are saying that ‘Kosmix’ can give information faster than Google.

looking for a piece of software (free or purchase) to analyze and report on about 100 company web sites. (we have a number of individual programs that do these items, but its tedious doing all the work of entering domain names and getting reports)
software would:
1. most important, would allow us to enter domain names to be analyzed in a list, and then get reports on some frequency, such as bi weekly or monthly. would be nice if it emailed reports all in one package, or even individually, and or held them for us to vide and/or print
2. keyword rankings in specified search engines
3. Missing titles, desc. metatags, keywords, alt tags
4. text relevancy between text on page and desc metatags and keywords and title
5. report on broken links
6. #links, outgoing, internal, and backlinks if possible (or as shown by google)
7. page rank
8. if possible, a "score" for the site. this would likely just be indicative of the optimization and visibility for the site, but would help isolate issues and/or sites needing work.
9. indexed page count on google

I will have my travel site up & running soon (travel agency). I want to offer an aditional 5% off for all business travels. What is a good approach to get companies to use my services? Should I just use the yellow pages? Should I mail brochures? I don’t like "cold calling" anyone. I am not the best at "presure selling". I love telling people what I love & belive in (example: I can tell them the perks of a good vacation, what to do & where to do it! Even best time of year to do it!). I need help in marketing! Any ideas on a start-up to get more customers to my website (besides search engines)???
Well its so frustrating I develop original content hours and hours of it , and have many old sites redirected that use to rank well to my new website and all is well , the rankings take off and I start getting web traffic from google then someone from google starts sniping any high web traffic term. All the low traffic terms and rankings are left some 1st page in millions of competition but the high traffic terms just are taken and all penelized eventually after doing well or buzzing lots of search then the same sites replace where I was , postchronicle, zimbio , xomba, docstoc, digg, answers.yahoo.com, nowpublic, twitter and allot more crap websites that spew garbage and rank great.
My question is basically, Does Yahoo and/or Google pay people that work at the googleplex or yahoo headquarters just to blog and promote these sites with adsense etc on them for the benefit of google itself sort of giving the illusion of private parties but they all more or less worth their and tweek the search engines to all their " Friends Network " and monitor all real web spikes and funnel them to their own people?
I wold ask but this is the case I just want won of you fucking idiots to admit it.
