]]> A friend of mine was told by his web designer that if he forwards too many of his domains (more than 4) to his main website that it can effect his ranking in search engines.

Is this really true? I have about 7 or 8 domains forwarded to my main website…Can this hurt me?

]]> I am planning on interviewing for a position tomorrow within a college office, and one of my main points is that grants are out there for the office to use, and grow. I am sure they are out there, but search engines are not a good tool to use, because you will end up with a lot of student resources, instead of for the college itself. I would really appreciate it if I could find a source of both Illinois, and Federal grants available to colleges and universities, as I am not very sure how to come across this information without the position itself. If a career placement, internship, graduate, or non traditional grant seems to come to mind, feel free to elaborate, as that is my main focus. Thank you for your help.

]]> I think that Google is a little too picky when it comes to SEO. Because they completely ignore well keyword-optimized Websites, and they ban your site if it is well optimized. In other words, they punish you for optimizing your site.

And they don’t give well-optimized sites much PR credit either.

As a result, Google can index non-relevant Websites and rank them at the top for your keywords.

Not to mention that Google is very picky about who you link to. You only have a few options for link building in terms of optimizing your Website for Google.

I know that spam is a huge issue on the Internet, and I know that Google tries their best to reduce spam, but I think they take it too far. Googlebot should actually look at the site and determine if it’s a spam site or not.

Search engines should rank sites that are well keyword-optimized, which is the point of searching for something. They want to find sites that are optimized for their keywords that they search for, not something that has a bazillion kajillion links.

]]> I recently bought an adult turnkey site in hopes to make some money. Although, I am have regrets because it has been two and a half months and I haven’t seen a dime. I put my site in search engines like Yahoo search marketing and Google Adsense but I am a student on a budget, and it seems they just take money away slowly…I know it takes time, I am a patient person, but I don’t necessarily have a ton of cash to put down on advertising.
