Does anyone have stats, or know how many people start up websites with the view of making money from them… only to find that their websites fail…?

No one visits their site…
It doesnt appear in the search engine listings…
and before long is resigned to the webstie graveyard (where ever that may be)… and no money was ever made from the venture.

my blog is listed on google in the 14th place for my search terms, but doesn’t appear at all on any other search engine results.

Why is that?

How can I get it to appear in other search engine listings?

We were recently asked to cease and desist selling and using the logos of a product we sold on our website. We removed the product from the website and all pages that had any mention of it.

Currently, various search engines have the site cached and our webmaster has the links redirecting to similar products. Keeping in mind that there are no logos or mention of the product on our website, is redirecting current search engine listings to similar products a violation of US trademark laws? Please list sources if possible.

Is this site appropriate for seo site building I want traffic and high organic search engine listings what do you guys think.

Hey guys. I am the owner of several yahoo groups and treat them like websites in that I put tons of pics, files & info in them. Some of my groups actually have more content than many related websites that i’ve seen. Unfortunately, most people never get to see my groups cuz they don’t show up in Google or Yahoo searches. I would like people to be able to see my groups in search engine listings. If this is possible, how would I get them listed and within the first few search pages? Thank’s for the help.
