I’m wanting to know how to obtain top ranking in various search engines i.e. google, msn, yahoo ect…

I’ve been able to obtain top ranking with several of my pages in the Houstonhotdeals domain. If you search for "after construction clean up," or, "Mega Ebook Collection," you’ll find both pages ranked pretty high….usually out of more than 1 million searches……

Though I have a general idea of what it takes, I wanted to know if anyone knows a quick easy method to freely obtain top ranking in the major search engines?

I have always used Blogger and find it much easier and faster than WordPress. WordPress seems very confusing, difficult and complicated to me.

However, I did try switching to WordPress, because I heard that it had more capabilities, including plug-ins. For example, there is an "all-in-one" SEO package that works with WordPress. I think that this, and similar things help with site promotion and getting a lot of traffic.

But what if I decide to stay with Blogger? Will I be able to optimize it as well as WordPress and get as many visitors? This is a major concern beyond the simplicitiy.

This is absurd to the extreme..! Can someone please show me a LINK to any commercial website in that answer I posted. The thing about ‘parachute for sale’ is a tagline, my crude attempt to invest a little humor into the answer given.
Is it really worth it to spend time trying to answer questions on Yahoo!Answers when a top contributor who’s been hanging out here for about 5 years, and who has almost 6,000 points, gets a violation for absolutely no reason?

The "Halloween" Yahoo main page auto-types search terms in the search bar. It is soooo frustrating to continually backspace over the "ghostly" generated search terms that I’ve been using Google or Bing instead of Yahoo. I was going to send a note directly to Yahoo, but I can’t find a way to send them a direct communication. Great marketing tool for the other search engines.

@ Gaz: No, most of the time, my appeals get accepted, but only if it says "Yahoo Community reported your answer"

If it says "Violation result" then 99% they won’t accept. They accepted it once though.

After 3 months i understand that i should receive a page rank from google.com… and now that i have 3 months i have received PR0, and as far as i know this is only for banned sites.

What’s the best listing service website to promote my Georgia Mountain Log Cabin "for sale by owner"? There seems to be alot of sites that will advertise for a fee or commission, however, I want to be listed in the local MLS so that real estate agents can see and show my property.
