Can google read backlinks and give credit for backlinks for example.

ex. Saying "Click Here" but leading to a site like "www.vacation.com".

Does google give full page rank credit for a html code like that. Thanks.

all the backlink checkers out there are poor (the free ones)

google webmaster tools sucks, yahoo site explorer isn’t very well ordered and doesn’t let you check compatition, etc.

I just want a tool that shows a list of backlinks from a site and is vaguely ordered by importance (so that I can see the most useful backlinks at the top. (ordered by anything really, like google page rank, or alexia rating, what ever)

it’s just useless having a randomised list!

I saw that my url is listed with yahoo, but the website is not showing up? I all ready have google adsense on my website with a google search bar, is there something that I can add from yahoo, to increase my page rank?

looking for a piece of software (free or purchase) to analyze and report on about 100 company web sites. (we have a number of individual programs that do these items, but its tedious doing all the work of entering domain names and getting reports)

software would:

1. most important, would allow us to enter domain names to be analyzed in a list, and then get reports on some frequency, such as bi weekly or monthly. would be nice if it emailed reports all in one package, or even individually, and or held them for us to vide and/or print
2. keyword rankings in specified search engines
3. Missing titles, desc. metatags, keywords, alt tags
4. text relevancy between text on page and desc metatags and keywords and title
5. report on broken links
6. #links, outgoing, internal, and backlinks if possible (or as shown by google)
7. page rank
8. if possible, a "score" for the site. this would likely just be indicative of the optimization and visibility for the site, but would help isolate issues and/or sites needing work.
9. indexed page count on google

Any advice on a program would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
I want to increase my pagerank in order to get higher rank in google. I am new to SEO, but I learned most of the strategies that I implemented them to my site. However, when searching for a specific keyword, I am being listed in the first 10 pages in google, which is definitely good.
Now I’d really like my site to be listed in first two pages, and I heard this can’t be possible unless I get a better page rank. My current page rank is now 0/10.
I cannot spend money to get inbound links, and don’t want to waste my time on sending emails to web masters. That’s why I thought I should submit my website to many directories.
Can you please give me some of those directories that are free, and can you please let me know if this will increase my pagerank and how long does it take.

Last year, Twitter made status updates no-follow so you don’t get link juice from links you post in your status. However, I have heard that some applications that are used to post to Twitter have proven a way around this. Can I get a do-follow link when posting with HootSuite. If so, is the link as strong? Twitter is a page rank 9 site and I want to make sure it is being profitable to post links through an app.
