I just started up a website, http://www.live-love-adventure.com/ and I’m trying to increase the Google PR, but have been unsuccessful at doing this. Does anyone have any good ideas to increase the GPR without too much hassle?
I have a blog I been working very hard on for about three years. It has good Alexa and Google rankings. In Google’s search results however, it is buried if you search for it’s niche related keywords. On the first page of listings for these keywords there are sites that have few posts, haven’t been updated for months and have bad Alexa and Google ratings/ rankings.
Any ideas about why this is?
I am an online Magic Tricks Store and it is my primary source of income and I noticed my Alexa ranking, and traffic dropping for some reason. While during this time my level of work has not changed. I don’t know whats happening exactly. I am an amateur at the SEO game, I call it a game because it seems to always evolve and change. I try to stay on top of the current trends.
Back linking with similar sites, and properly researched anchored keywords is I know is an important step. But what is similar to my Magic Tricks Website? Not much! I have found that Back linking is a difficult process with my sites subject matter. I was thinking Gaming sites or other hobby type sites. Anything with regard to Magicians. But, I find that Magicians and other hobby sites wish not to back link with me. Most think that I am looking to steal their traffic when in actuality, all we are doing is strengthening each others Anchored Keywords among the many search engines.
Proposition:
Anyone, with a website that feel would be a good fit with my site: Google –> Nexus Magic Store. I would be open to a link exchange. I am a Page Rank 4 almost 5 site with nearly 2000 back links to offer. I would want to exchange with a PR 3 or better preferably. Also, I am looking to exchange solid SEO techniques or good Directory references, I have a few.
Would anyone like to exchange with me?
Every SEO web site says that one good strategy in order to rank better in Google is to write a lot of articles containing the keywords a couple of times. However, there are two completely different points of view on how important the content is. Some people say that the content is absolutely unimportant and they even advice to publish the same text many times in different pages just changing one word because Google’s robots read them as if they were completely different texts. On the contrary, other people say that the content is extremely important because it should attract people to read it.
Which strategy is the good one?
There are all kinds of theories regarding linkbuilding and SEO. Have you heard about contextual links? Can you give an example? Why does Google love these links?
