Hey Guys,
I am planning to redesign my website ( 1100+ Pages) which is doing good on search engines and is getting good traffic. My only concern is if i do that keeping in mind all the link placement and everything. Still can rank fall on google??

I thought one solution for this let me know if that will work –

Will launch new page with same domain name but with different extension say .info and with new title, keywords and description in meta tags plus will modify on page content too except dynamic part of the site. Once that new page is crawled by google will replace old one with new one on main hosting.. Hows it sounding and yes I did lot of optimization for current page..
So please suggest me best possible way of gaining more rank with new page rather thn loosing it

How can I see where my site is on a google search?

I have a small web site and have tried to some SEO for a few terms
associated with my business. However, when Google ranks me
very low, for example the 70th page, it takes quite a while to find
my site on the google search results. Is there a way for me to enter
my domain name and search term and find out what page google ranks
me. Or exactly what spot they rank me at, for example 343rd.

SEO suggestions for Travel Site?

Hi, All

I’m from India and I’m optimizing an indian travel and hotel booking site. This site has PR3 and site ranks in Google First Page Position for various targeted keywords (many of them are quality keywords for travel and many of them of hotels booking related keywords). In spite of being ranked for targeted keywords we get very few bookings from outside India(only 2-3 per month).

On checking statistics of my site I came to the conclusion that my website is on top only on Google.com and Google.co.in and not many pages of my site rank for the keywords its been optimized for (Only domain name get rank for hotels specific keywords).

Any good SEO suggestions for pages to rank well?

My main concern to get rank in other locations of Google and other search engines. How I can get more booking from outside india ?

From other google locations like…google.co.uk, google.fr…etc?

Please give me suggestions. Thanks

SEO search engine optimization with Google?

I am trying to get ranked with google for the word smog check devener.
I currently have the domain name www.smogcheckdenvernow.com
I know I have to have lot’s of quality back links to get ranked for the site but if I changed the site name to
www.smogcheckdenver.net would it help any in the ranking?

Also on the second day I was ranked on the 3rd page of google and then the following day I was nowhere to be found! What could have happened?

Looking for a good tagline to put under my parenting blog name advertising, any help?

I am writing a blog on fatherhood for a local major paper. The address to get there is hard to remember so I registered a domain name that is much simpler to remember. I also wanted to make some cards but wanted to keep them very plain while still giving someone who picked it up some idea of what it was about.
Ideally I want the blog to appeal to women who are interested in finding someone with the same experiences and little by little drop daddy feelings after gaining their trust.
The only tag line I have been able to come up with is "Find out what your husband is really thinking." I feel this is a little misleading but it would get women to come to the site.
Any suggestions?

I bought this domain name hm 2 weeks ago ? or less, and I optimized the website as much as posibile, i am already crawled by google , yahoo, and other goodies and on top of that last week and till today i receved over 450 visits which is not bad i think for 2 weeks. Now the question !!!

What does it come in your mind if i say "blog or not to blog?"
Should i sell this domain name ? for like 0 ?
What should i specialize my post to ?

PS: if you need some seo help please let me know!!! i dont charge 1c!

Best redirecting method for increasing page rank and SEO friendly solution?

I have few domain names that all are redirecting to one domain name. Currently i am using the html tag . I was hoping that all the redirected traffic will increase my main domain page rank due to the traffic.
But I read yesterday that this ‘refresh’ meta tag is actually bad for SEO. They mentioned there that search engine actually unindex domains like that and therefore i would lose that traffic and the domains would not show up in search results.

Can any one suggest me a good way to redirect the traffic from my secondary domains to my primary one? I would like to monitor the traffic in the secondary domains as well as in the primary domain. Currently i am using google analytics to give me traffic information about all the domains.

Please, when answering this question include whether your method is SEO friend, and how? And, also include whether i can monitor it with google analytics or maybe you can suggest other traffic analytics tool?

Does anyone know the following?

When typing in a domain name, the indexpage immediately opens with a /en after the url (domainname.com/en)

What does that mean for the Google PR that is shown in the google toolbar? That this PR is attached to the domain name… or to that very specific url /en ?
