IE is the most common platform by a long way.
It makes sense to optimise for that unless you want to alienate the majority of visitors to your website.

Although Firefox is widely used, it is known to cause some problems.
I would say Internet Explorer because it’s the default browser for Windows and everyone knows how to use it.
You should also try optimize it for browsers for other platforms. E.g. Safari for Mac. Which quite usefully is available for Windows too.

Why optimize it for any browser at all?
Good web pages tend to be browser-agnostic. If your site needs "optimization" for certain browsers, that’s usually a sign you should rethink your design.

u should optimize it for both browsers.. and if u want to be more efficient you should do it for mac web browsers too…
u can never avoid such problems..
@Megan: he can optimize it for many browsers using javascript..
gd luck

Since you’re advertising making great websites, your site should run well across all browsers. If it’s only possible to optimize for one browser, the largest usage share is still held by Internet Explorer.
