SEO: My webmaster sucks; he says two body tags will be horrible for page ranking, T/F?
Okay so here’s the deal if you’ve seen any of my other questions they are in regards to how much my webmaster sucks at life and his job. So he quotes me 2 hours to add a news article that is already written and has pictures and some interlinking (like 5 links), that when he is done posting looks like something my dog vomited up and then bolded on wordpress.
So I do it up in wordpress and then copy over the html the only problem is that now there are two </body> tags…is this bad in any way? Will google rape me on page ranking for having two body tags?

There are many freelance developers out there that can help you if you are not happy with your current one.
There is a possibility that improper markup will affect your search engine ranking because it’s not proper search engine optimization. However, there are articles that would disagree with that statement.
My suggestion would be to remove the misplaced </body> tag and go on with your day.

Hi,
i never tried 2 body tags but here is what i would do, if i were in your shoes.
1. list the web site on Google webmaster Tools
2. fetch the page as Google Bot
3. wait for Google feedback, to see if the page appears under HTML Suggestions
list with Bing Webmaster tools, too
If he sucks why use him?
I’m not sure if it will affect page ranking. It is best to always use clean code, and having extra tags doesn’t make for clean code.
