Search Listings results?
I want my site ‘Poetrystuff.net’ to feature on the searched listings for ‘Poetry’ and not in the listings for ‘Poetrystuff’ . I want to keep my domain name but to have the engines and spiders pick it up for insertion under ‘Poetry’ listings where the potential for hits is far greater before I begin to introduce advertising onto the site. I’m increasing the quality content of my site daily and I am at the top of the first page of listings for ‘Poetrystuff’ listings but I want to achieve the same under ‘Poetry’ listings. Help please? I have already taken ‘Poetrystuff’ out of the page title and put in ‘Poetry for everyone’ instead , but this has not achieved the desired result. Is it that the change in listing will occur in time or am I being too impatient? I see that many other sites have achieved exactly what I want to achieve but I’d be very grateful for an authoritative answer on this matter. I am using Yahoo! sitebuilder which I ike very much. You need to give each page of your site a different title and description but each with the word "poetry" in it. Then you need to get incoming links from other relevant sites. Get them to publish your poetry and add a link to your site as part of your biography. Swap links as well with similar or relevant sites. Submit to relevant directories including http://www.dmoz.org. Spend at least an hour a day on this and you will see results in about 7 months.

I am not familiar with Yahoo sitebuilder, but looking over your source code, you have defined "Poetry,love, fun, sadness, badness, madness, religion, travel" as your keywords. If you think about it, words like travel and religion are two VERY broad keywords that aren’t really poetry related.
Try coming up with more relevance with your keywords.
It DOES take time, and traffic going to your site is very important. I say that because I was only #8 on your visitor count. If you are aware of other poetry sites that are highly ranked, contact them to see if they can provide reciprocal links to/from your site.
