Question about Page Rank and URL's?
Does anyone know the following?
When typing in a domain name, the indexpage immediately opens with a /en after the url (domainname.com/en)
What does that mean for the Google PR that is shown in the google toolbar? That this PR is attached to the domain name… or to that very specific url /en ?
Many thanks!

All this means is that domainname.com/en is the set domain name for that website, and the PR does apply to that page. Websites can choose to set a certain home page so they dont have multipy PR for different home pages like http://www.domain.com/index.html http://domain.com/index.html http://www.domain.com and http://domainname.com. These all should go to the same page but if the website owner does not set it as one of these they can end up with a different PR for each one, and could also be charged with having duplicate content by the search engines. Hope it helped. Send me an email if you have anything that I could help with you doing.
