My domain name wwww.mile-x.com is not showing up very well in the organic search engines?
I am running an adwords campaign, could this possibly hurt my organic search listings? How can I get my domain www.mile-x.com to show up higher in the organic search results?
Our website www.mile-x.com does show up when we type in certain keywords such as "handy motorcycle lift", etc. but most of our keywords that I am bidding on are not showing up organically, just in the ppc section on the right. I do optimize the site and just am looking for more/better ways to show up organically rather than ppc. We use the meta tags, h1 tags, alt tags, etc. but our blog isnt really bringing in any traffic nor do we have social bookmarking.

NO — pay per click has nothing to do with your organic listings.
Check:
- quality of your content
- number of backlinks
- quality of backlinks
- on page factors such as keywords on the page
- title tags and other metatags

Careful keyword selection is the heart of the SEO campaign. Site owners who are on top of their SEO game have a list of top-priority keywords that they use on their site, with reasonable repetition, in strategic places. We never let a site go for six months without checking the keywords to make sure they’re still appropriate. If a site’s focus or positioning changes, new keywords are in order. If a company adds new products or services, new keywords are in order. If a new competitor comes on the scene, it’s worth peeking into its site for new keyword ideas. Even if none of these changes takes place,
regular keyword analysis is in order because search behavior and trends may change as well.

2. Submitting to directories

Write good useful content so other relevant-high-ranking website would like to you. This is the only way to rank high for these keywords. You have to convince Google that your website is highly relevant to the keywords you are targeting. So do everything that other SEO guys tell you to do + use a little bit of creativity and make good, interesting content so people would refer you to others and link to your website.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help with this: info@itchair.com

I got more in-depth information here on these quick posts on this site….than I got from some of SEO programs I purchased in the past.
Thanks a lot guys I will be checking in daily.

When you say it is not showing up very well what do you mean? Is it showing up at all when you type the domain name in? If not it is not indexed, if it is you simply need to build your site authority in order for it to rank higher in the search engine results pages.
SEO is a massive subject but I’ll try and break down the basics for you.
- The first thing you need to do is decide which keywords you would like visitors to find you with. Pick around 10 – 15 relevant keywords.
- You now need to optimise a page for each keyword by ensuring you use keyword variations in the;
- Title tag
- Meta tags
- H1 – H6 tags
- ALT attributes
- general content text
Once you have a fully optimised page you now need to concentrate on building links back to it. These links should contain the following elements.
- Oneway links back to your pages
- The pages you get links from should be relevant to your page
- Try to get links from high PR sites
- Anchor your links with your main keyword text
- Tryto get links from pages with few other outbound links on them
To get the links try the following;-
- Article marketing
- press releases
- directory submissions
- comments
- forums
- social bookmarking
Oh and no Adwords will not hinder your organic results, but you can be burnt badly with adwords unless you know how to optimise your ads and your campaigns.
Hope this helps and if you have any other specific questions let me know
