Oh man, this question is huge.
There are many things to do. On-Site SEO is one:
- Keep the titles of your pages well written
- Use <H1> / <H2> tags for the relevant content
- Don’t overload the page with words, keep your statements straight to the point.
- Use title="" property for every <A> and every <IMG>
Off-Site SEO is another relevant thing:
- Make as much similar sites as possible to link yours. This follows the precept "to catch a small ball use a net". High ranked sites will push your rank up.
