I just created a blog and I want to get traffic to it, are there search engines that people use to find?
blogs on different topics and markets. How can I submit my blog to them.
Another question is if a blog had excellant content and looks professional would make a purchase from it if it was hosted by blogger or another free blog hosting service or would the domain influence you. There are crooks out there using .coms and .nets as there are using .ws or .tk something to debate.

http://technorati.com/ is the most popular and effective directory for blogs. If I were you that would be my starting point and then use some of the social networking sites such as Twitter, Stumble, Digg, Delicious, etc.
