Use a relevant keyword in your title, provide good content, use your signature on all emails etc, comment on other peoples blogs, think about articles etc etc.
There are lots of things to do before you waste money buying anything.
WordPress is better than Blogger IMO

Look at the poor layout of the Home Page. Do you really want to use them?

1st try to get more back links to your website and the easiest way to do that is by submitting your website to free web directories such as:

http://www.dmoz.org
http://www.surformation.com
Backlinks provide higher ranking in search engine, but most importantly, links drive direct traffic to your website when visitors clicks on your links.
2nd Try promoting your website on social networking and internet communities such as

http://www.digg.com,
http://www.stumbleupon.com
This is where web surfers are spending a big deal of their time, so have your share of visitors.
3rd and most importantly, provide quality content, this is an indirect way to get back links by genuinely driving people to link to your website.
4th make sure that your meta tags ( web page titles and description) match the content of your pages, this is a huge part of search engine optimization and drives traffic from search engine to your website

They are pretty much the most important things when trying to get your website to show up on google. The more high pr back-links you have the higher you will rank in google. Make sure you have high pr backlinks(the best backlinks to have). They are two ways you can get backlinks, one is to generate backlinks yourself, you will need to have a little knowledge about backlinks to do this or you have to do alot of research to figure it out.
I went to http://www.shop.buycheap-wholesale.com , they are a backlink building service and they are the best online that I have found. They do all the work for you, I bought 100 high pr backlinks, these backlinks all had a (pr of 6,7,8, or 9) Which is awsome. I paid I think $80, but they have other packages of backlinks. Still compared to $450 that one website charged I think $80 was a steal. After about a week my website was on the first page on google.

Your name is not a keyword. elvineleven may be clever, but the search engines(Google) search for keywords. One of the first places they look isthe name of the blog so it must contain a keyword or the SEs will just ignore you. You will be invisible and get no traffic.
Do keyword analysis. Find Your most popular keywords. Name your blog with a great keyword. You also should have keywords in your post titles.
Lose elvineleven. Start a new blog with a great keyword.
Go here its free: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. This will give you lots of keywords related to your website. Enter words that describe what you are trying to do, your subject or theme
Then go to Commission Junction and find some products to sell on your website. Free
Of if you want to sell information products, signup with ClickBank, free.
Next, you need to do SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Get this book: Search Engine Optimization-An Hour a Day by Grapone and Couzin.
