I like to use amazons feature on what others bought, plus the lists. I often find I then buy the same. Apples Itune feature is nice too that has a section on other recommended music for you, although I use IMIX’s more, especially when I want something like Running music or cardio music. I dont buy the whole IMIX, but do get a number of suggestions I do buy. They also have the "what other customers bought" thing. So basically its more there personal touches, especially to find out products and bands Id never heard of, then big flashy banner ads, or pop up ads. It works. I buy more stuff.

Consumers get to know about the products and get more knowledge, awareness about their website/products.. etc…
