How can I optimize my site to appear high on Google and Yahoo search?
I have a website (www.spanicity.com) that I want to optimize for the keyword "learn Spanish". Right now it’s doing really bad, although it has a pagerank of 4. What can i do do to improve it?

You can go to many Search Engine Optimization(SEO) forums on the internet and learn a lot in just a few days. The Webmasterworld forum and the Digitalpoint forum are just a couple of examples.
Read a SEO book. There is a whole profession relying on this thing called search engine optimization. I can give you some starting tips.
1) Make a file containing address of all pages in your website, name it robots.txt and put it in root of website.
2) Have a sitemap of your wbesite.
3) Submit your site to google, Yahoo, MSN.
4) Have a lot of keywords describing your website and put them in comma seprated list in meta tags.
5) Have a lot of intra webite links
6) Try to locate another people in same business and exchange links with them.
