How can I add an option for posting blogs to my group, similar to the option for mesages?
Right now members have options to post messages, look at files, photos, links, databases, and Calendar. I’d like to have a separate place where they can post blogs, but have no idea how to add it. Help, please?

Take a look at the new groups feature called "Applications" and see what may work for you in their. As for messages you can only reply to any posted message.
There is no such feature, nor can you add a tab in the area of the files, photos, links, databases, and Calendar. Those web features are default and of them, you can disable any of them but you can not add something that’s not a current web feature.
The apps option also doesn’t add a tab- you have to click that application tab to view the apps that might be selected (there’s 16 apps) and there isn’t one about blogs.
If you’re talking about a link to a blog(s) I suggest creating a folder in the Links and have people add to it.
