One of the best ways to increase your blog’s PR is to comment on other blogs. This should increase the traffic to your blog, thus increasing your PR. If your posts compel others to read your stuff, then you are ahead of the game. Don’t be afraid to be controversial, but that doesn’t mean you have to be a jerk when you do it either.

Another way to do this is to use social bookmarking sites to ‘promote’ your blog’s link. Twitter and facebook are probably your best ones to start off with. Every time you post something new to your blog, make sure to use them to tell others about it.

The more links you have going to you blog, the better. But try to keep them within the same niche of your blog.
