Best SEO Techniques for getting internet traffic?
I would like to maximize my traffic by SEO’ing my website and I would like to know what some professionals do when they SEO your website.

Great Question
First off SEO is not something you rush into. BUT, if you want to learn more you need to understand some fundamentals such as Metadata, Metatags, Backlinking, Submissions, and Advertising
All these things are part of SEO and more.
If you are truly interested in learning more do Google SEO and get a few books and start reading. You will hear a great deal of mixed results but this is mainly because many people claim SEO, some people Do SEO, and others yet do it for others and not yet for themselves.
There are many ways to get up in the ranks and you will see one of them in my posting here…
That is a backlink…A flag to a Search engine. You aren’t looking for quantity through but rather quality links. Both would be best.

The best SEO techniques for getting traffic will be simple. You have to start searching for a niche that passionates you and the keywords on what’s best for your niche using Google Keyword External Tool. Low competition keywords should be used within your article or content. Optimize them next in social media, social bookmarks, article and PR directories and forums. Keep doing it all day until you see results.
Make sure you index your website and should be do-follow.

First, you’ll need to look for keywords that you want to optimize for on your site. You need to have an end in mind before you start. Once you do this, you’ll need to optimize your site first, using the proper keywords in the title, body, and header tags. You should be able to find this information farily eaisily on sites such as SEOBlog.org.
Then, you’ll need to earn some backlinks to your website. This will mean finding other websites that have good rankings and getting them to backlink to you. One way of doing this quickly is through Article Marketing. You can create one article and have it distributed to a ton of different article sites, thus giving you backlinks over a period of time. I attached a link to an article submitter software site I found which can provide some direction.
Keep in mind that this is not an overnight process. Many of these optimization techniques can take weeks for you to rank higher. Exercise patience when you build these sites!
