In terms of SEO, no-follow links do not really give you any credit in terms of pagerank or street-cred. The only thing no-follow links are good for is for driving traffic, and that is it. Unfortunately, probably about 99% of all websites out there use no-follow tags as well as blogs. And a lot of times they can do some pretty sneaky stuff to give you the impression that you are getting a great dofollow link when they are really just giving you the shaft.
However, if it is just traffic you are looking for, then no-follow links are fine. Just don’t expect to see any bump in the rankings. Read the article below for some great do-follow sources. It will also tell you who to steer away from when it comes to no-follow links like HubPages.

When starting your link building campaign it is a good practice to get a wide variety of links from different trusted sources.
You definitely don’t get as much benefit from a nofollow link than a dofollow, but it’s good to have a mix of nofollow and dofollow throughout your campaign.
The main benefit of having a dofollow link is PR (page rank) will be passed down to your website. So if the site you’re getting a link from has a PR5 with a low number of OBL (outbound links), there is a good chance your website will see SEO benefits. You also want to make sure you are using the right anchor text and that the site you are getting a link from is on the same topic your website is on.
Just focus on getting a good mix of links but avoid any blogs or websites/forums that have been spammed to death.
So the best links you can get are the High PR (page rank), Dofollow, On Topic, Keyword Rich Anchor Text links.
Good Luck
