I have a very sedentary and sometimes slow job, (i won’t say where), and as such i spend a lot of time goofing off on the internet and especially writing blogs and such. I’d like to get better at it though. I think it would be very satisfying and constructive if i could have what i write in my off time critiqued. I’m looking for a site that can offer that… but free.

My company is building a blog from scatch (no templates) for several of our clients. Who would you recommend to host the blog and moniter the traffic? Google Analytics? Blog Harbor?

I have a blog on myspace that almost all of my friends read. They enjoy it and say it’s really funny(could be themm being nice though).
I would like to get more readers so I can get other opinions on my writing, as I am an aspiring writer.

My school newspaper is a little dry. I want to write an article that can piss people off but get them to argue about important things. Any suggestions or sites that can help me. Please, I don’t want teenage pregnancy or gay rights (too boring and played out) I need something that will enrage teens and make them choose sides.

I have a site ,which I got developed from a firm.
I noticed that the site has 110 external links(links pointing to sites outside my domain).The total no of pages in my website is around 375.
I want to know if external links have a positive or negative effect on my websites ranking.

Every now and then when I log out of Y!A onto the main page, I see the main news: "5 signs he’s dumping you" or "10 signs he’s no good for you"
Why do we need these types of things? Are there really people that dumb who need to read up these things?
Where can I host my blog, preferably for free and easy to use, where if it becomes popular I can get paid by advertisers? If I use a free web host can I get paid advertising? Specific websites would be helpful.
