I have a blog which, up until now, has always focused on taxes. I have great page rankings when using tax terms. Taxes are my bread-and-butter of my business and therefore it’s crucial I stay highly ranked in that ares. I would like to start posting about some general business topics, but I’m afraid the search engines may see my keywords move away from taxes and ding my page rankings for tax searches. Is this a valid concern?
My blog RFourBiz has been online for about one year but the traffic and page rank is too low. What can I do to increase blog traffic fast?
I am puzzled why I don’t have a page rank i.e. I have a PR0.
My personal blog (on WordPress) is about 6 months old, I have my own domain, have over 1000+ in bound links from other personal blogs, have a 400,000+ Alexa ranking, 18,000+ ranking in Technorati, am indexed in Google (as my stats show people coming from Google search). I am not one of those sites with just links, I write content of my life and my interests. I know my ranking is not high but that proves I am at least on the search engine maps and am indexed.
I know from reading from SEO sites that it is a combination inbound, outbound, site relevancy, quality of the inbound links etc etc. so I should at least have some kind of PR right? It just doesn’t make sense. Putting my address down in http://www.digpagerank.com shows up as PR0.
Also how long does it take to get a PR?
Can someone tell me where I am going wrong, offer an explanation to this and what I need to do to at least get a PR.
I started a blog 3 months ago.But when I try to see its page rank, it shows N/A.(my blog is http://blogdhaba.blogspot.com)

Nowadays I hear a lot about building links and increasing link popularity specially thru blogsites. Can anybody tell me the best approach? Why one should use Blogitive when anybody can put a blog?
i read some popular blogs and i see a lot of users (A LOT OF THEM) commented on the person’s blog. something about christianity. so i know that you have to be someone’s friend to comment on a blog? is that right? but these were a lot of comments on the "top blog" forum and i doubt that person had that many friends. can i leave a comment on the blog without adding him as a friend? where do i click to leave a comment.

i have this searchstatus plugin on my firefox to display page rank. my father writes a blog for 6 months, he updates the page twice a week, he receives ~40 visitors a day, the blog is linked from other websites, but the pagerank is still zero. does it take some time for pagerank to update or does it depend on other things?
aren’t directories kinda oldfashioned? anybody still uses them?

My blog recently went from 3 to 0. I am just wondering if this is because I have some of my blog entries on some other news/articles sites. Could this be a possibility?
Also, I can still find my site on page 3 for "girly wordpress" in Google. Does it mean I am not blacklisted by Google? If so, why the slip to page rank 0? Anyone can shed some light on this? THANKS!
